    Manny Steward : Losing It?

Is Manny Steward losing it as a trainer?

I cant remember the last time i watched a Steward fighter do well at the top level.

The last few times i have seen Steward in the corner his fighters looked out of shape, they always have good muscle tone but are out of breath within a few rounds(i.e. Vivian Harris, Lennox Lewis, etc).

I voted before reading the post, sorry.

I thought you meant is Manny losing it mentally with his opinions, which he is not.

But yes Manny has 'lost it' as a trainer, he 'lost it' a long, long time ago because his heart hasn't been fully in the game since the 80's.

He lost it most when he took on Wlad and thought he could make him his next Lennox and Lennox being out of shape during the Vitali fight was more Lennoxs fault IMO.

I know Lennox was a big time, multi million $ fighter but when i watched a doc about their training camps it was terrible. Manny would say "i want you to do the pads" then Lennox would reply "No, i want to do the heavybag".

          Who's the ****ing coach??

Well I guess you blame Manny then for not taking charge but Lennox had been a fighter for many years and should know what to do already just needs to be reminded to stay sharp ect.

I think he is losing it slightly. As Spinxjinx mentioned in another thread his fighters tend to run out of gas. I think this has alot to do with the new generation's work ethic as opposed to the old school.

He lost it as soon as he said "I'd favor Sharmba over Mayweatther" lol then his garbage training cost Vivian Harris his belt.

                    Wlad gets fatigued quickly
                    Vivian gets fatigued quickly
Lewis vs Vitali, Lewis was gonna drop dead if it was another round

Peter is going to KO Wlad, he isnt the favorite for nothing. He is going to catch him eventually
