So again make no mistake, Khan is the draw and the cash cow of the division, Love him or hate him, You simply cant ignore him!
Atmosphere in the Silverdome was always going to be a problem, it was really loud when you got 70 grand in there (which is still well short of a sellout for football), that building is huge there is no way you can have a good atmosphere in such a place at less than 10% capacity. It turned out better than I expected though to be honest.

To answer the thread yea Bradley should accept 60/40 if he really wants the fight, for two reason 1) it is on the path to bigger money for himself so waht is taking slightly short money 2) it should still be his biggest career payday and how can you really fault your biggest payday no matter what the other dude is making. 70/30 I would have to think about, I would have to try and negotiate a better number maybe 35% but if he was still getting his biggest career payday even at 30% same as above how can he really be that mad about getting his biggest ever payday.

Khan is more known by the casual fan, noone outside of hard core fans no who Bradley is. Chris Mannix wrote an article leading up to Bradley vs. Alexander explaining that fans in Detroit knew there was a fight happening but couldn't tell you who was fighting, that doesn't bode well for you especiall in your home state.

Khan should get the bigger split because he is the more recognizeable boxer and the cross over appeal. He is Golden Boys cash cow at this young stage in his career already and he is overall the bigger draw. I know that sounds ******, but we all know this is how it works in boxing regardless if you like it or not. It has always been this way and always will.

                60/40 khan.

but since we are dealing with gap toothed pakistani swindlers, bradley will be lucky to even get 30%.

I will be the first to admit that Khan is the cash cow in the division and Bradley can't draw flies. But he is #1 in the division and he commands respect. The division is too deep to take short money from Khan's people. Bradley wouldn't take less than 50 percent to fight in the UK, even though it would be easily be his biggest payday. His people didn't want to fight in St. Louis because they were afraid Timmah would get a raw deal. Ok, since HBO will pay all the promotional and sanctioning fees and purses and the promoters don't have to do squat let's fight this in a town where the economy is depressed and hardly no one cares or heard of these fighters. Ok, I will get off my soapbox. My point is Timmah's people will not take short money to fight Khan. I will say Khan would deserve 55/45 split of the ppv sales in the UK.

Amir's sold out the MEN (~18k) and several other arenas in the uk before he was champ, AND in england tickets arent given away for free to boost attendance figures. If khan can sell out the MEN for the mcloskey fight (considering he is fairly unknown) then he should definately get the lions share against bradley. Regarding the unbeaten #1 140lb Bradley, 6000 spectators with the majority getting in for free in a so called "superfight" is pathetic. Khan could fight a bum over in the UK and generate more revenue than what was made in the "superfight" last month. The guy can only sell out small venues of 2500 in his home state.

It would suit both parties to have the fight in britain, in the US bradley has no pull whatsoever so i dont think the crowd would be over 8k paid. In the uk I could see the o2 arena full ~22k, possibly 30k+ if they were to take it to a football stadium. I think Hatton staged a couple of his fight at Eastlands with 40k+ attendances . . .

50-50 US revenue and 70-30 SKY PPV revenue.
