I think he is being given to much attention as in press And by hbo. But all of that has too do more for the fact that he draws huge crowds and that was before he started getting all this hype. He is being over hyped but he is a good prospect and he will have a good career maybe not the next chavez but a good tittle holder.

i guess i wasnt really ranting on him being a promoter, but more on him being overrated. I hope he does well, hes good for the sport but i agree that his career will be short of exectations. Hes not a special fighterI agree with the whole thing with him as a fighter. I do think he's over-hyped, I really don't get the hype of him as a fighter, I think a lot of fans who really really like him will be disappointed at how his career turns out.
But, him and his brother trying to start their own promotional company right now? Meh... I don't care, to me that has nothing to do with him as a fighter. Nothing at all, I think it's two separate things. For me personally it doesn't go hand in hand. JMOComment

And? Its not like he is a champ and has been on hbo countles times getting paid millions fighting bums like berto. He is a prospect who is stepping up his comp to prove the hype. The only thing i dont like are the 150 fights he does either fight at 147 or move up.Comment

Which is why I dont like berto, and why I do like Canelo.Comment
