Exactly, I don't see what the issue is in him being a promoter? That has nothing to do with him as a fighter or the overhype or anything.
And, I think the company is his, Rigoberto, and another business guy. I think, I might be mistaken though, have some kind of co-promotional rights to Tomoki Kameda(The youngest of the Kameda brothers) who is a solid/good prospect.Comment

thing is, usually successful fighters whov made alot of money in the game become promotors example ODLH, Cotto promotions, etc. And you have this kid who hasnt even won any championships and prbably cant even legally go to a bar here, and hes a promotor, and is being vastly overrated in his abilities in the ring. In other words,...its not just being a promoter. Its everything, hes being way too hyped for the fact that hes a mexican with red hair and thats the truth.
I like him, but I feel like hes not earning what hes getting. He probably made over a million to fight Ndou. Thing about a guy like Berto is that hes a champ and i dont like him due to his choice of opposition, and the fact he makes more than he deserves, but he doesnt get all these headlines on how great he is, isnt overrated because honestly everyone knows hes suspect, and he sure isnt a damn promoter. I agree with the whole thing with him as a fighter. I do think he's over-hyped, I really don't get the hype of him as a fighter, I think a lot of fans who really really like him will be disappointed at how his career turns out.thing is, usually successful fighters whov made alot of money in the game become promotors example ODLH, Cotto promotions, etc. And you have this kid who hasnt even won any championships and prbably cant even legally go to a bar here, and hes a promotor, and is being vastly overrated in his abilities in the ring. But, him and his brother trying to start their own promotional company right now? Meh... I don't care, to me that has nothing to do with him as a fighter. Nothing at all, I think it's two separate things. For me personally it doesn't go hand in hand. JMOComment
