Ever since the David Diaz fight i've suspected Manny of using somethingLast edited by LoStranger; 02-06-2011, 02:50 PM.Comment

This is a dishonest poster
During the ONLY official negotiation, the fight fell through because Pacquiao would not agree to blood testing without a 24-day cutoff.
I am not concerned about what Manny has "apparently" agreed to since then.
If he will apparently agree now, why was a 14-day cutoff not suitable back then?
Your asking about the 14 day cut-off that Manny rejected
How come Manny will reject the 14 day cut-off when he is the one offering it and that is according to Floy Mayweather himself?
If you read the link I add. It was Floyd saying the fight didn't happen because Manny wanted of two weeks of non-testing and Manny didn't want the fight. Floyd even stated that after the FIRST negotiation no one reach him out. I read that interview many times, Floyd never mention 24 days cut-off that you are talking about causing the fight not to happen.
Being dishonest huh?Comment

I personally dont think Pac is on PED's. And can understand why Pac refuses to give in to Floyds demands.
But id like to see them fight. And the only way that is happening is if Pac takes the test.
I think he should man up and realise the tests wont physically weaken him, and he should overcome his psychological issue.
Yet this issue is very complicated. If he loses to Floyd, people could say that all his previous wins were attributed to PED's. And he loses every time he takes blood tests.
So taking the tests might not clear his name of these rumours at all.Comment

And base on the history of sport since the dirty Olympics. Any link that you could provide that athlete submit to a random blood testing that include test a day before and a day after the fight like Floyd demands?Comment

Why lie about what Floyd wants? He just wants the testing to be random with no cutoff...you know, like the USADA's protocol.Comment

If you read the whole article
R. Mayweather said. "The way boxing works. you take a test a day before the fight and a day after the fight and thats it."
Below is whole article link. You can read it for yourself
While the future of Floyd Mayweather Jr.is as uncertain as ever, good news came recently to his Uncle and trainer Roger, who recently was able to work out a dea
That is what they want not really the RANDOM BLOOD TEST.
Article below, Floyd disagree on Manny demand of two weeks of non testing even though his previous test with Mosley has 18 days gap prior to the fight .

But I was talking about the first negotiation, the only "official" negotiation.
* Mayweather demanded full RBT's - no cutoff
* Pacquiao would only agree to a 30-day cutoff
* Then, Mayweather conceded, and offered a 14-day cutoff
* Then, Pacquiao conceded, and would only agree to a 24-day cutoff
Mayweather never mentioned 24-days, that was Manny.
" A compromise failed to reach fruition when Mayweather said he would allow a cutoff of blood testing 14 days before the fight, while Pacquiao insisted on a cutoff 24 days before the fight "
