Bottom line is that it wasn't how hard Manny hits but how many blows he landed. Pretty obvious that Manny landed the least ammount of punches on Marquez when compared to the other guys.

the jmm fights went 12 rounds. the 1st morales fight went 12 rounds, the 2nd went 10 or 11. the mab fight was stopped in the 12th round. so what u mean???? cotto and morgarito were left a mess but so was diaz. not as bad but he was twisted. oscars eye was swollen shut and a few more rounds, who knows how bad he would have looked. and can imagine if hatton had lasted 5,6 rounds??? would have been a bloody mess.

Yeah apperently you never watched him when he was a young safety first fighter. I used to watch him back in the early 90's when he was fighting in the great western forum series. He was pretty technical defensive fighter who almost exclusively relied on counter punches.

exactly what came to mind before i even read your answer....you can't compare marquez boxing ability to hatton,cotto,diaz,margarito or anyone else pac faced,even barrera has some boxing ability and he wasn't left looking like cotto,marquez was bruised up,i mean he did trade with him but his boxing is way superior to the others,i still think pac is on something though,i mean think of this,pac hurt margarito with a body shot and also kind of pushed him back during an exchange,i mean look,if guys like cintron,santos,williams,cotto,quiroz who are all very strong and and big fighters,cintron,santos and williams are 6 ft or taller and big,especially santos who in rematch weighed over 170,if those big guys didn't hurt marg why would a small guy like pac be hurting him?...i do think he takes something
