This is contrary to what Cotto's team stated .... "We will not know the total amount we will make on this fight until the PPV tally" Cotto is getting a portion of the PPV along with the 15million.

What $15 million? Where this amount is coming from? I have already shown a reliable source, Cotto's legal adviser, saying that there is no money guaranteed. Why you guys keep repeating the same amount?

We don't really get a feel for what "depends on the PPV numbers" actually might mean for Cotto. It could mean if it does < 1mil he gets x, between 1 and 1.5 he gets y, and > 1.5 he gets z. It might not mean a percentage, it still could be a flat fee...but nonetheless awesome for Cotto and I don't think this is a cashing out fight for him. Floyd hasn't built a reputation for giving fighters retirement checks to make him look good like the "Fighter of the Decade" has to. Then again, Floyd's fans have mostly been fans of the sport for much much longer than Pacquiao's...so yeah, homie don't play that game.

It doesnt say it depends on the PPV numbers, what it says that their total earning will depend on how much total revenue proceed from the fight, including Pay Per View. You guys keep repeating something that is not a fact. There is no flat fee. It is a split of earnings with Floyd taking, more likely, more than 70%. (70 to 75% is my guess).

In no way shape or form Cotto would had done this type of purse with anybody else.

Even if he fought Pac it would had meant having TR in there in some way splitting his purse that would had not been any near what he is getting now.

Plus the stipulations of another catchweight that only benefits Manny.
