Funny how people say Floyd fighting Shane Mosley was a cherry pick, when he was clearly the next best WW aside from Floyd and Manny after knocking Margarito out. I even remember Max Kellerman saying just Floyd-JMM ended that Mosley should without a doubt be in talks for a mega fight with Floyd or Manny, and I remember Arum and Freddie saying Floyd wouldn't fight Mosley when he did because Shane was too much of a risk after knocking Margairto out. Floyd fought him and won a wide UD, it's a cherry pick. I agree that Shane was past his prime and not that good anymore in 2010, but it was still a good win given what Shane had done prior to fighting Floyd.

The best time to fight the past prime version of Shane was after he beat Margarito, which Floyd did that, that was the best possible past it Shane you could fight, high on his TKO win over Margarito, and feeling avoided by the top guys.

Manny fought Mosley AFTER Mayweather had beaten him, and fought Mora to a draw and Arum himself said Mosley was "huffing and puffing by the 4th round" and that "he should retire", then he changed his tune and started hyping Mosley up.

See the difference there is that Mayweather fought a guy coming off a win, Pacquiao fought a guy who hadn't won a fight in 2 years.
