Floyd is better in every area there is to be better in.

Cotto's only prayer is that Floyds legs are as shot as they looked recently, and that his chin is suspect.

If Cotto lands on Floyd enough its possible.

But I have Floyd winning this walking away. NO way he stands and trades, or hangs out on the ropes. Cotto can ****. So floyd tip toes to a UD, just like always.

the only thing I can think of is to use the jab a lot and see where it goes from there.

I forgot to mention that but yea he has to use his jab very consistently to create any openings and especially to back Floyd up.

I completely agree with you here. Even in the two Castillo fights, JLC's moments of success came with even minor feints. Cotto's never been much of a feinter though, so I don't know if he will even consider doing that.

He won't. Cotto has never been one to throw caution to the wind and start taking punches just to get his. And if he does in this instance he will be getting stopped.

Floyd's doing the right thing by promoting the fight with this kind of actions. 8 oz gloves and press conferences calling out for a war is the way people are going to get real interested in this fight if they aren't already.

Exactly. He likes to fight at his own pace and has trouble being defensive and offensive at the same time, which is why he is trouble by being pressesed. Mayweather is a incredible boxer, but Cotto won't be pressed and that's key.

I agree it will make Cotto swell faster, but 8 oz gloves at 154 help out Cotto's power more than it will Floyds. Floyd's got balls, no CW small glove I've always had respect for him in the ring but aside from the Marquez incident he's a class act and respects the sport. Hopefully he'll get remembered for this and not his circus act antics.
