Which just shows how biased and butthurt you were that Floyd was tagging Cotto because in the first 3 rounds Floyd had Cotto in trouble. It was in the 2nd half of the fight when Cotto really began to throw it all in.

Yes, the commentators were biased from time to time but that isn't really more different from what you're trolling about here.

      • Personally I thought Cotto's hand speed was just a notch faster in the Mosley fight but what impressed me more in the Floyd fight was his diligence.

        • Round 8-Cotto's best round based on activity ad ring genealship. He didn't land anything clean but the round was at his pace
Round 9-Mayweather Round. His defense is too potent and that left Uppercut is finding home
Round 10-Mayweather Round. SMH Cotto isn't throwing enough and Floyd's Defense is on full effect. Mayweather round based on cleaner punches landed. Cotto is still in this fight though.
Round 11-Mayweather. I am starting to feel like Cotto blew his wad in the 8th round. He was so aggressive, so determined in that round and then poof from then on Floyd adjusted and Cotto just didn't throw enough or control where the fight was at enough to make it competitive
Round 12 Mayweather's 2nd most dominant round (after Round 3) I don't think he even realized he staggered Cotto with the uppercut, it happened so fast and while he was boxing and moving.

After rewatching I have it 9-3 Floyd. Could be as much as 10-2 (Round 2 is very close) or it could be as close as 8-4. This is as unbiased as I could try to be folks.

Yeh Cotto's defense was really superb, he stuck to the gameplan and kept it so tight. His hands were rarely off of his chin.

You should try re-reading and work on your reading comprehension. Never did I say Cotto didn't fight hard nor did I take anything away from him. I simply said He faded and he became more vulnerable, I used Juanma as an example. It doesn't mean Juanma didn't fight hard late rounds vs Mtagwa or vs Salido. Im simply saying he (Cotto) faded and became more vulnerable, getting hit WAY more even tho he also became more defensive minded.

You people are acting like I gave Cotto the fight. I thought he was winning 5-4 till Mayweather started picking him apart from the 10th on. There's no doubt Mayweather won but 9-2 rounds? I just can't agree with that. I guess I was also wrong when I said Pacquiao beat JMM in their 3rd fight. JMM could've won but he let go the gas once Nacho told him "you're winning."

I read fine. Still not sure what you where watching. Floyd fought a different fight late when he started boxing more. Cotto did his best to get him on the ropes. Cotto fought at the same pace and didn't fade. Floyd stepped it up, Friendo.

                    • Last night i thought the 117-111 scores were wrong , i just watched the fight again , scored it the same. I kinda let the crowd influence me a bit. Cotto applied pressure well , but Floyd outboxed him all night long.
