if Cotto was fast enough he can counter Mayweather's right

By pivoting to his left as Mayweather throws the right hand and Cotto lands a left hook to the body and left hook to the temple of the head if Mayweather doesn't pivot with him on time. Cotto is too slow and relaxed to do it though.

There's just a problem Mayweather is too fast, too technical and too good defensively.

He has the movement to do it with a fighter with normal or poor foot speed but Mayweather has foot work like no other lol Cotto's only chance to land a left hook to the body is to do it by countering a blinding right hand and using his heavy legs while trying lol

I honestly see Cotto and Ortiz evenly with speed. However, when it comes to the accuracy Cotto is better.

again, the Floyd straight right stuff is hyped up way too much on here. He throws it a ton against Southpaws because that is the primary punch to use against them but he's not straight right dominant against Righties. He just mixes up his punches. He probably even throws more lefts or hooks then he does rights against orthodox fighters

The only time a righty can land a left hook on floyd without getting it blocked by his right elbow is while he throws his right hand cuz he exposes his rib cage at that point, so for cotto to step to his left and land a left hook while floyd does that is the only time that chance will be open...
