Cotto has great motivation and thrives for hard work. My only issue is that Cotto basically said he's going to talk about his family/dogs and not gonna focus on Mayweather's trash talk. That's fine and all but a little trash talk from both sides makes it a little more exciting. Mayweather needs excitement in his 24/7's because his fights are the complete opposite.

Bryan Perez says they're "gonna beat him at his own game". That kind of gives you his gameplan. That could be suicide or it could trouble Floyd and confuse him a little bit. I guess we'll find out.

u gotta b kidding. cotton has nothing for floyd. It baffles me how people r feeding in to the hype of this fight. floyd is not backing up from cotton ball cotto he's gonna b infront of him power punching him to death and u all r gonna b suprised only cause u all lack boxing knowledge. cotton ball might make the crowd roar with a couple little arm punches cause he's tough but other than that he's been done since Margarito cut off his embilical cord and spanked him.

I think a stoppage will happen, but most likely on cuts. I think Cotto's face is going to be a mess going into the second half of that fight. TKO in 10 is what I'm feeling.

I got the opportunity to watch them train over at Primetime Gym a couple months ago before the Margarito rematch.

One of the things I noticed is that him and Diaz got really good chemistry. The training was of medium intensity but it was fluid. And Diaz puts a lot of emphasis on the fundamentals, which I can appreciate, because I think Junito has strayed away from a lot of HIS fundamentals since his career began.

While doing mitt work, he had Cotto glove up, and had him working on his footing/movement for about 30-45 minutes before he threw a single punch.
