Pay attention, Bat. It's not about who would win. It's about who would be the favorite.

Yes. He's the smaller guy and nowhere near as strong and powerful as Martinez.

I think it depends on what weight-class they fight in TBH.

At 154 I can see Floyd being the favorite(with the odd makers)

At 160 I can see it being very close to even money and wouldn't be surprise if Martinez was the favorite(with the odd makers)

At 154 and higher I would personally favor Martinez. Below 154 I would favor Floyd.

Oddsmakers aren't looking at it as "who's going to win?". They're looking at it as, "who does Joe Public think is going to win?".

Mayweather is more well known, and the general public is aware that he's recognized as one of, if not the very best boxer on the planet.

154, 160, catch weight. Doesn't matter. These aren't things the betting public will take note of. They'll hear Mayweather, at decent odds, and they'll bet it.

Mayweather would be the favorite. But it would be close, imo.

Mayweather has not fought a welterweight yet that would convince me he would survive a middleweight of Martinez skill. Mayweather has not fought a counter punching southpaw that would have me giving him any chance with one.

I bet if someone started a thread and poll about Mayweather against Hopkins at light heavy, people here would be divided.

                He's just that invincible.. lol

I would favor Floyd to beat anybody from 140 to 160

We dont know what floyd is capable of now, and its only a stab in the dark. People would think Sergio would beat FLoyd at 160 and it would even at 154.

Floyd would be the underdog, only in that people are not comppletely sold or convinced by Floyd as a fighter yet. Similar to people thinking SSM would or could beat FLoyd, not that i thought SSM was amazing or anything, but rather i believed FLoyd hasnt been tested by anyone really good yet. And that i dont rate Floyd. He might go on to outbox Sergio though and show Sergio is overrated, it wouldnt suprise me. I think the praise for Sergio is OTT.
But because im not totally SOLD on Floyd highly i think Sergio would do well against Floyd.
