Agreed. I can't remember Vic landing any woo hits and I've never seen Donaire in trouble.

Nonito gonna have his chin tested. Can he take a real power shot from a strong puncher? We shall find out!

Arguably his toughest opponent ever and a big step up compared to recent years.

This is a 50/50 fight. Both can be hit and they have KO power. However, Montiel is the better finisher. Donaire is probably the worst finisher in boxing today. I know he has been knocking out his opponents but do you guys noticed how when he has an opponent hurt he does not put his punches together and have the ref stop it. His fights are usually stopped after he knocks his opponents down several times (ex. Hernan Marquez, Raul Martinez, Sidorenko) or usually by completely knocking them out (ex. Darchinyan, Vargas). Even in his fight with Concepcion he hurt the guy several times but he threw single punches no combo.

Montiel has fought good competition while other than Vic, Nonito has been in against what seems to be a string of tune ups.

Montiel is also much more established at Bantam and Donaire has only been there a few times.

Is it the heigth of Donaire that people see. Is it the dominating performances.

I believe that Nonito is just a more sound boxer with about equal power.

              What do you think?
Donaire is tall and very polished. Combine that with good power and its just a beautiful thing to watch. He also came along at a tme when I was praying for someone to Knock Darchinyan out.

I can't say he's the worst finisher ever because he's stopped so many over the last few years, but he does sometimes load up. I think his best bet is to just keep fighting the way he does and the KO will come.

This is a 50/50 fight and yeas I want to see donaire's chin get tested. Hope this fight lives up to the hype it generated unlike some recent so called 'super' fight.

It's not that he's stopping his opponents it's how he stops them. Like I've never seen him stop them the way Montiel stopped Hasegawa. He never put punches together.

Because people want to see the second coming of Manny Pacquiao. I honestly believe Donaire is a very talented fighter with a lot of skill and natural abilities but he has not faced a fighter at the caliber of Montiel. He's feasted on bums (besides Vic who was pretty tailor made for him) and has looked great doing it. we'll see if he has the goods.

                      I got Montiel by KO
