Why is Donaire so heavily favored by the boxing public?

    Including me...

Montiel has fought good competition while other than Vic, Nonito has been in against what seems to be a string of tune ups.

Montiel is also much more established at Bantam and Donaire has only been there a few times.

Is it the heigth of Donaire that people see. Is it the dominating performances.

I believe that Nonito is just a more sound boxer with about equal power.

    What do you think?

He's much bigger and overall the better boxer. If Montiel can turn it into a firefight, I believe he can win, but that's a big if.

Nonito has size, speed and a lot of boxing abilities. Montiel has been inconsistant in the past but as far as I'm concerned this is a 50/50 fight.

I wonder how it will be if/when Nonito gets tagged.
This is also his hardest test in almost 4 years.
