Do you believe that Wlad was drugged in his fight with Brewster?

i don't know what the hell happened to the guy in that fight. i do feel more comfortable saying wlad lost rather than brewster won that fight.

brewster was lucky that the ref wasn't stingy in the fourth round, because i've seen fights halted on much less.

did anybody else notice that wladimir tripped over the ref's feet after the end of the fifth. definitely couldn't call that a knockdown.

Vitali on the other hand was going to fight Cedric Boswell who was a heavyweight who was considered a possibly champ in the future so I can see how Vitali was in better shape. I dont hold that fight against Lewis nor Vitali and I thought the stoppage was correct because I mean seriously look at that eye it was almost an inch deep...But the fact remains is that there were 6 rounds left, that is half the fight and anything could have happened...Sorry for giving you a book, but I dont feel that was the case with the Vitali fight, because Lewis was one of his fighters who never put it all on the line early and waited and used his boxing skills. Plus I feel Lewis did things differently than a lot of the fighters Steward trained but in that fight he was training to lean on a smaller guy...
are you serious? boswel is and was a bum,,,,if anyone was ill prepared it was vitali. going from boswel to lewis is a hell of a lot rougher than going from kirk j to vitali

Those are a few who come to mind, you can add a few others but those are the most notable ones I believe...

to an earlier comment i do think that lewis was about to collapse in the 7th round fi there was one, he didnt look so good sitting down at the end of the 6th.

i think he was drugged personally, but he did throw alot of punchs like 77 and 78 in the first two rounds, then 59 in the 3rd and 38 after that till he got KO'd if i aint mistaken

What the hell are you talking about? Before Boswell fought McCline he was considered to be a top contender, McCline got his hands on him after the Lewis-Vitali fight. Vitali trained harder for Boswell because that was to be either fighters coming out party....You look at how McCline got catapulted into the mix it was because he destroyed the hype of Boswell...I am not saying Boswell is good but the hype surrounded him during the Vitali fight and he was supposed to be a top guy

Historically, very large men in the ring tire easily. Wladimir had pretty well been able to walk his opponents down and throw that long jab and very deliberate power shots. Being a very large and powerful fighter, he was able to dismantle everyone in front of him.

Wladimir is kind of like a big engine with a small radiator. He overheats pretty easily. He has a suspect chin and let's face it, he needs to win by the middle rounds by KO or he's in quite a bit of trouble.

Drugged? NO. He has alot of real estate for his heart to deliver blood to. He may not have the cardiovascular system to match his body.

I think that the proper training could help him quite a bit, but he still is going to have a propensity to wear out.
