    Bruises from sparring..

I sparred with my friend again without gloves. Its like nicotine to me because it's addictive and I keep coming back. Now, I have like 5 bruises all over my body, arms, and neck. Right now, I can barely even throw a punch with my right hand because it's ****ed up and swollen. I also sprained my index and middle finger in my right hand. I tried to shadow box an hour ago but I'm sore as hell. I am planning to go to the gym today and lift some weights. Should I go or just rest for a lil while?

Stop sparring with your friends, or stop whining. Your pick.

My advice is to leave the gloves on next time. If you are truly interested in the sport and respect the fact that your body could be irreversibly damaged by sparring without gloves. You could easily damage your hand. You could also do some serious damage to someone else without them.

If you have some minor bruises, I would give it a rest for a couple of days, then get back in the gym. If you spar, use gloves.

The 1800's are over. John L. Sullivan is dead. Put the gloves back on!

There is nothing wrong with the site.. I haven't been on here for as long as you have but I'm sure I've spent a lot more time here than you and I'll tell you this much: The site sure got a lot better since I joined and things like "If u have nothing to say then just shut the **** up." won't get you any popularity anymore...

Even though you have a lot of posts than mine, that doesnt mean you spent more time than me in this site. I dont post a lot because I just like to read what members write down in this site. What if u created a thread and people started replying like " why do we care?" " get back to the gym u *****"
I bet u will be pissed too.
