Bob Arum is the Making the Sport Alive

This is just embarassing. Alexander vs Bradley was being considered to be one of the greatest fights all of time and its the biggest flop on ticket sales and was free on HBO with a FLOP ratings no one cares about..

Arum protects his fighters but he will put his fighters at the right time where you can draw 20,000 people with 500k-1 million buys on PPV. Who the F U C K **** knows this wannabe stars Bradley and Alexander?

Just look at Golden Boy's Prospects.. Is that making the sport alive? Feeding their fighters to the lions and they aren't even established yet. How can you build the sport where your fighters are already dead at the age of 25 being fed to the lions. Golden Boy can't even crack 200k buys on PPV right now since all their prospects are already dead

Arum will make Gamboa vs Lopez where they will be able to draw 30k people at Meadowlands Stadium at the right time and that's making the sport alive like the morales Pacquiao and Cotto vs Margarito where it will be a super mega fight

What I'm afraid about, if Arum goes away are all prospects gonna get KTFO in early career?
Bradley-Alexander fight was held too early, Alexander was too young for this kind of fights. Both fighters hadn't built up fan bases, high ratings and promoters ruined potential fight.

this is what happens when u have guys that only understand one aspect of the sport. lol...

neither gamboa or lopez are prospects. and have u ever heard te term, the cream rises to the top??? the best fighters will rise and the ****ty ones will fall. we dont need a bunch of weak prospects being overhyped. and we also need the best fighting the best. arum cares nothing about whas best for boxing. he cares about his bottom line.

yea hes built up his fair share of stars. but hes been around longer than anyone. whos the biggest star coming out of his stable rite now not named pac?? lopez??? gamboa??? the problem is they arent prospects anymore and they still seem like b level fighters to me.

arum works his stable very well, but as far as him making fights ppl wanna see, id say his track record is less than stellar as of late. last year, it was golden boy and the smaller promoters who put on the better shows.

                  "Boxing is a business", remember?

If the fighters don't care about making the best fights for the fans,

                  why should the promoters?

Lopez is about to be a star IMO as well as Donaire. Now I'm not talking about big time PPV attractions, rather top P4P guys who will be recognized as the very best in their divisions.

I also agree that GBP did indeed put on the better shows last year, but Top Rank is off to a great start this year with Donaire vs Montiel, Soto vs Antillon II and Rios vs Acosta. Those will be 3 great bouts to start the year off with.
