How do you figure Alexander has more wins @140?
    Witter, Urango, Kotelnik >Ortiz, Cayo

And, a shot to **** Corley pushed Maidana to the limit who a 20yr old with only 13 fight prospect in Alexander dominated a couple years. If you want to use that type of logic.

Look, just because Khan beat Maidana don't try to make him out better than what he really is.

No need for that. It was a good win for Khan. But, there is no way Maidana should have been rank ahead of Alexander prior to the Bradley. With rankings you have to go by resume wins.
This is true, Alexander won every round against Corley where as Maidana looked like shit, good point.

No its really not. Urango is not better than Ortiz.

I dont put much stock into the Corley fight, it was a throwaway fight. Im looking at their big fights at 140 and Alexander has been out of his depth whereas Maidana has pushed some of the best fighters.

This change doesn't make sense to me. Both of the fighters lost their last fights, Allexander to the number one, Maidana to number 2.

I don't like it when decisions are like that as it supports the claims that ranking systems are about popularity.

good. Alexander just lost two in a row, why should he have been #3?

Kotelnik should be rated above Alexander.

Kotelnik beat Maidana H2H. What is Maidana best win? Ortiz? A win over Miadana>a win over Ortiz. And, also if you want to account Alexander for Kotelnik is much better than what Maidana has done.

Saying that Kotelnik is moving up to 147. So when he his first fight happens at 147 he should be taking off the 140 rankings.
my point is that Kotelnik (one of our local fighters) is getting older and Maidana is still young.

Maidana improved a lot since the fight with Kotelnik which BTW was very close and controversial. Kotelnik is a routine at 140 and he has been fighting young guns in his last fights, which is great but couldnt do much outside showing his XP and ability as a excellent boxer.

lulz, Don King wants Kotelnik out of the 140 picture. He never had any problem making that weight. I want a credible source or video interview for your claims.

For all we know Ortiz probably wouldn't even get past Urango, I seriously wouldn't put it past me.
