Donaire, I think his boxing ability and movement is too good for Montiel and he will be able to get off and get out and around with no problem.

Donaire will box his ears off and probably stop him.

I put all the money I won from bradley on Donaire.

        he'll win by KO.

        It's simple really.

Donaire is big, extremely fast and powerful.

Montiel on the otherhand is tiny but does pack a good punch.

Montiel is going to have to try to get inside on donaire which means he'll constantly be coming forward, he's going to have to eat 4-5 shots to land his 1. That's not good if you're up against a superior boxer with superior handspeed superior footwork etc.

All you got to do is watch this short video of the bigger Valdez having his way with Montiel and you'll understand montiel is in for a tough night

i have THE utmost respect for Montiel...he's a little badass and has the power to not just make Donaire respect him but even stop him

however, Nonito has many many tools in his arsenal and i see him winning widely on points if he doesn't get ****** in there

The Valdez fight is only relevant in terms of size. Montiel was having a bad time due to the cut that only became worse due to headbutts and Valdez' southpaw stance. We've seen how much trouble southpaws have given Montiel, Mark Johnson, Valdez and Z Gorres. Donaire isn't a southpaw.

I don't think Montiel needs to fight on the inside regardless of his size, he has been a pretty good counterpuncher and the pressure will only be applied on the later rounds. When Donaire fails to really hurt Montiel, hes going to go back to Concepcion mode.

true, Donaire isn't a southpaw but he has shown in recent fights that he can actually switch stances and do very well...another tool that he can fall back on if he needs to change strategies mid-fight
