Mosley fought a lot of the best fighters of his era. Berto's been on HBO for years and is still fighting bums.

His time is up. If hbo was smart they'd force him to take a real fight next or drop him altogether. You supporting this overrated, overpaid bum shows what a sorry excuse for a boxing fan you are.

Jack...just stop. I know you're ****** and I've accepted it. But what really kills me is that you're too ****** to realize how ****** you really are. Let's look at the bold for instance. How long had Mosley been on HBO before he fought an elite fighter? Hmm?

His point isnt what Mosley has done as of now. He is saying that Mosley at a point in time was in a similar situation. Of coarse times are different but early on they were both guys with speed and flashy punches that had a lot of hype when they turned pro. You may disagree with his point but thats what I gather he is getting at. Mosley on HBO for a while before a big fight in a similar way to Berto.

Clottey is tough? I must be missing something. Anyway, for the thread I will give my two cents. I can't stand Andre Berto, but I'm willing to cut the guy some slack. HBO won't let Cintron back on HBO until he rematches Paul Williams and that's not really Berto's fault. Berto should come down on his monetary demand if he wants a crack at Cotto even though I think Arum will keep Cotto away from him regardless.

I believe what the solution is, is for HBO to make Berto fight somewhere else until a good opponent materializes. It's what Greenburg said HBO would do, so they should stick to their word.

And Berto does look weak for not fighting Cintron, but how does that change the fact that Cintron is a bitch himself? Lol.

Berto at this point is just an opponent with no name. Cintron has been in there with the best and has handled himself (for the most part) quite respectably. Sure he flew out the ring against Paul Williams, but at the end of the day, he was in there with Paul, ****ing away.

He went in w/ Margarito, took an epic ass whupping, and still went back in there with Margarito and received an ass whupping. He fought Martinez, sure he *****ed his way out of a KO, but hey...desperate times call for desperate measures and he didn't want to lose. He went in there with Angulo, who is a bigger version of Margarito, and he won. Kermit will **** w/ anybody and that deserves some respect.

Hell, Berto doesn't deserve the shot at Cintron.

Kermit will not **** with anybody. How can you call Angulo a bigger Margarito? Sorry, that guy may fight like Tony but he's not in the same league as the prime version. That's why Cintron quit against one of them. Kinda like he ****** with Williams before ****ing the table. Please. I'm not a fan of Berto. But the idea that he should fight Kermit the leapfrog is laughable. Berto will get his big name opponent and will either sink or swim. Cintron can get lost for all I care. He's disgraced himself enough times.

Angulo is a career Jr MW, whereas Margarito is not, hence why I labeled him a bigger Margarito. I did not say he was better than Margarito.

The fact that he went in there with a guy who fights like Margarito, and is probably more heavier handed, I think says alot about Kermit's heart.

I agree, that somehow weird **** seems to always happen in a Cintron fight, but he's still a quality fighter who is certainly the best opponent Berto would have squared against. And a win against Cintron would answer alot about the capabilities of Berto.

Ok, so then he beat someone not as good as Margarito. Just doesn't prove anything, J.

No, it doesn't. Why? Because Angulo is nowhere near as good as a prime Margarito. And when I say nowhere I mean nowhere.

Yes, but he doesn't deserve a shot for ANY title, even Berto's gift-wrapped one. He needs to sit at home and think about what he did for a few more months. How the **** you gonna fly out the ring like that? After I let him slide for that **** he pulled in the first Margarito fight too...
