I'll tell you this, if Devon comes into a Maidana fight looking to just back up and flurry, with no footwork, no head movement, and just head hunting (all things he does right now!!!!)...He will fall. In fact, it might be a brutal KO (ala JT taking a nap in the coner thanks to Pavlik)!
Yea and if he loses to Maidana I'm sure it will be by a pretty bad KO that Devon will never recover from..I feel bad for him(Devon)Cunningham talks this guy into some **** all the time..I notice on the face off Devon barely talked and Cunningham said you gonna have to kill Devon to beat him, would have been more believable if Devon said it himself ya know..

this trainer reminds me a little bit of adam booth, in that he talks a better game then his fighters talk and manages to talk them into fights i'm not sure they even want to be in!
booth managed to talk groves into battle with de gale and groves or booth dont look too keen on it. and if alexander didnt like what bradley was doing to him, i cant imagine him liking what chino has to offer.
i'm taking chino to murder alexander if they fight as he'll break him and then knock him out

I do remember Devon saying something along the lines of Devon not liking to go back and forth with cats verbaly (before the fight).

At some point though, you have to have your own voice. Cunningham can talk all he wants, he can't fight for Devon...I do think Devon should tell him to pipe down a bit though.

I swear everybody just bandwagons some hate train after a fight, i would not be too worried for alexander against maidana, first off devon has a better chin than khan and is still a good boxer.

Maidana although strong is slow as hell and he is not quick on his feet, dunno where you guys saw that lol. I hope he comes back strong and all you hating guys that never stepped in the ring and got butted and cut talking about quitting, you keep doing that because its easy to criticise when you've never been in the situation.

This will be a 50-50 fight. If Alexander manages to beat Maidana, he is right back in the mix.

            WAR ALEXANDER !!

devon needs a new trainer. i dont think he can go any further with cunningham. he needs someone to improve his defense and his of fence which are both one dimensional at this moment.

Alexander reacted to the headbutts very poorly. It makes you wonder how he'd react to a bull like Maidana for 12 rounds.

Maidana should be favored at this point.

                    3 things to consider

                    1) if they could only get 6000 in the dome for the first fight, how many do you think are gonna pay to watch a repeat of that nonsense?

                    2) if witter hadnt sustained an injury vs alexander, would he even be in the mix anyway?

                    3) maidana eats alexander and spits the bones out.....and devon will know that....cant imagine the fight will happen but if it does then we are looking at khan v maidana II and alexander becomes another young pretender with nowhere to go ...probably fights malignaggi at 147!

I got devon, maidana dont have the footwork, handspeed, a jab, slickness, that bradley has to be effective against devon, devon gonna keep him away easy with 1s n 2s, maidana was abel to get to khan cause he got tired he drop hes hands he aint got good stamina n defense all khan does is run away, all maidana does is throw wide hooks n those are easy to stay away from with good stamina n he aint active enough
