Maybe you can explain it. From what I see....is a talented, undefeated Olympian who has yet to face a serious threat in the boxing ring. He has quckness and parallels are being drawn between he and RJJ.Originally posted by TyrantT316I REALLY hope some of you understand WHY he is hyped so much...
I still say its way too early to hype him thoroughly. Look what happened to David Reid.

Big difference between Reid and Ward...work ethic.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ward and I was very impressed. His commitment, ability, and the way he carries himself are going to carry him a long way. One thing you can't deny is how much he has improved.Comment

Would you not say.....it's a bit too early to determine this? I mean Reid looked equally as impressive at their respective early stages of their careers.....untill Ward is in title contention, could you label him as having a great "work ethic"?Originally posted by MrUnstoppableBig difference between Reid and Ward...work ethic.
Just asking.

All great fighters have great habits. I think Andre already has a relentless work ethic. Andre has no vices and no disctractions. Given his lack of experience and age, I think the focus he has is even more impressive.Originally posted by RunWithKnivesWould you not say.....it's a bit too early to determine this? he is our only olympic gold medalist...of course he will be hyped...and he has skills and flash...
plain and simple...
of course his competition will be with guys we have not heard of...he is only like in his 4-th or 5th pro fight...doesn't mean there is anything wrong with following his career from his debut...
boxing is also a business...this is exposure for Andre as well as the sport...Comment
