Just look at this way. Manny-Cotto was a sellout and Manny's last fight in LV. This one will be sold out soon. Why didn't Floyd vs Mosley or Floyd vs Marquez sell out if all these tix are given away? Both had around 14000 people in attendance. Good numbers but a few thousand short of a sellout
The Casinos bought a lot of EMPTY SEATS in
    those fights..
High Rollers perfer not to be BORED by FRAUD!!!

No Empty Seats at Pac Fights....FACT!!!

without that good undercard, less than half the tickets wouldve been sold.

And they will forget this announcement when tickets are still available a month from now...even though 16,000 is a sellout.

The Pac-Margarito fight did 33k, and that was a disappointment. May-Moseley and May-Marquez did not sell out at all. In case you haven't noticed, the economy is still tough and boxing is a tough ticket.

Vegas is in dumps, and their only positive month past two years was Pac-Cotto because Pacquaio brings in asian rollers and the casinos book rooms for his fights more than any other fighter. Of course, Vegas wants Pacquiao.

      It's supply and demand.

Brokers are expecting high demand, therefore supply is short.

The fact that secondary market is hot is good indicator in interest of fight.
how many non american fighters let alone fighters can draw 50k vs a ghanian nobody has ever heard of in a ppv that sold 750k that was fought in texas?

how many fighters can draw 1 mill pvv vs a opponent & draw over 30k in texas between two non american?

Its amazing what pac has been able to do.

Floyd could only dream of drawing 80k in texas vs two opponents nobody cared about.

Floyd couldnt even sell out in his own hometown.

That's what usually happens. Not just in Boxing, but in all events. They buy the bulk of the seats, sell them at a higher rate. Good business.

Anyone who has bought a ticket for a major fight knows what a crock of shut this is. Bob, being promoter of both gets about 10,000 ticket options which are in turn flipped to the stubhubs of the world. If he says 16000, it's actually 6000.which in today's world is impressive enough. Lots of ringposted 1000$ seats left, if you think the decent seats hit the open market you also believe Margarito had no knowledge.
