While you are laughing at us *****s, ask yourself a couple of questions: How much money is actually being made off these ticket sales. You can sell a Rolex watch for $100 and it will become the biggest selling ***elry item in history, but won't be held in high regard like they are now.
How many of those tickets were purchased by fans as opposed to ticket brokers? More than half are likely in the hands of brokers, which is standard practice.
If 16,000 tickets have been sold so far, what is the actual amount that has been earned on those tickets? Pac sold 50,000 tickets against Joshua Clottey in Texas Stadium, but the live gate was only $6.5 million. He sold 35,000 against Margarito and the live gate was $3.5 million. To give a comparison, Mayweather/Mosley sold 14,000 and made $11 million live gate. Mayweather/Hatton sold 15,400 and made $10 million live gate and Mayweather/De La Hoya sold 17,000 and made a live gate of $18 million. If they make less than $7 million off the live gate, that means the ticket prices were dirt cheap and the numbers are misleading.

Dammit!!!! I went to the ticket booth 3 hours early because I wanted to buy $500 tickets for the Pacquiao vs. Mosley fight. The line went all the way to the corner of Maryland Parkway and Tropicana (check this out on Google Maps).
I couldn't buy my tickets!!!! I am pissed!!!! It was sold out while I was still several blocks away.Comment
