My only thing is the size and strength difference. Bradley is a tough, very strong fighter. I just think for the much older Marquez it would be a daunting task.
At a glance I lean toward giving Bradley the decision. But I'm definitely not completely sold, and I know I'd like to watch it. Also, it gives him a common opponent with Mayweather and Pacquiao. We could then have something to measure his ability against them with. Could very much bring him closer to hitting the boxing lotto.

Both durable with good recovery abilities and good endurance. General consensus is JMM doesn't really have much business above 135, but bear in mind Tim Bradley is not a very tall JWW. So, how would everyone see this fight playing out?

I think Marquez can do fairly good against Bradley. I don't think Bradley is accurate enough to overwhelm Marquez and he isn't a KO puncher. I don't see anything from Bradley being as powerfull as that knockdown by Katsidis.

It's intriguing, that's who Marquez should fight after his joke fight against Morales. We can get an idea how Marquez will look at 140 to make a better assesment of the fight.

On boxrec, Bradley lists at 5'6 with a 69 inch reach and Jmm at 5'7 with a 67 inch reach. The ninja turtle is jacked and only a knockout or 2 away from PED rumors.. But if JMM were to move up and face a top JWW with belts/accolades, Bradley would be the guy. Either winner would be putting a real feather in their cap.

I'm not sold on just giving that fight to Bradley off the jump because of the style match up. JMM at this point of his career isn't the same guy who fought Pac the 2nd time, but I think his experience overall will carry him through the fight. Also, I don't think Bradley's power even matches that of Maidana (for 140lber) and or is he as precise with his punching as JMM can be.

I do think Bradley would get hit with some wicked counter punches in the fight. Whether he can withstand that for 12 rounds is a mystery, but I wouldn't doubt Bradley at all.
Other than Pac.. when JMM opponents get caught clean with power punches. They tend to wilt, and very very quickly. I think this would be a strong step in the direction of Pac/May, and if anyone has Gary Shaw's # they should let him know. Oh and tell him not to put it in Detroit.

I got JMM. I think hes smarter and has such great powers of recovery, so he aint gettin KO'd. If JMM stays disciplined and counters Bradley, uses good movement and is content to outbox Bradley then I favour him on skills alone.

However, I think Bradley could rough him up and win though because JMM tends to want to war too much and Bradley is skilled, younger and bigger, but I'll pick JMM for now. I have always wanted to see how JMM would fare at 140 and would never write him off so hastily as a lot of people have.

marqeuz by decision. how many times have we seen size means nothing power and strength means nothing. its about styles skills gameplan and determination. marquez is more technically sound than bradley better timing and more experienced. he can deal with speed and agressive fighters. marquez weakness is faster better counter punchers. bradley faster but not a better counter puncher.

i feel bradley would get jabed by marquez all night and when he rush in would be open for uppercuts and combinations. marquez is very accurate and always focused and in shape.
unless marquez gets old overnight or not 100% i see him beating bradley by decision maybe late stoppage
