Hagler-Hearns. No skill - just three rounds of beating the **** out of each other. That fight will always be remembered as one of the greatest in the history of the sport.

But i suppose a 'real boxing fan' wouldn't enjoy that and would much rather see Mayweather-Baldomir? After all, Baldomir was the undisputed WW champ and Floyd put on a clinic right?

SMH. This is the real reason boxing is declining - tons of hype followed by a **** boring fight. Just imagine a casual fan is interested in something like Bradley-Alexander, and then sees a terrible fight - why should they bother watching boxing again?

While i do enjoy watching skillful performances for 12 rounds with no KD's - it's KO's and exciting fights that MAKE boxing
I think everyone is missing the point including TS. I don't mind watching a skillful 12 round fight if it's exiting, or a back in forth fight, such as Froch-Kessler, Pwill-Martinez, Morales-Pacquiao etc. These fights didn't produce KO's, yet I view them as exiting fights, which casual fans can enjoy. A fights exitement is not solely based on KO's, as the fights which I mentioned didn't involve Ko's for them to be exiting.

It takes TWO to make a fight. Alexander simply fought scared, as was evident in him quitting. Bradley had to work of off that because even a scared fighter can beat you (look at Direll-Froch) if he possesses the skills. If this fight ****** it's not mainly because they were evenly matched as a lot of you claim, but rather because you had a scared, nervous, and over anxious fighter in there fighting a resolute, skilled, and won't-back-down type of fighter.

Seriously I don't get were all the bit.ching is coming from. We all saw Alexander loose his previous fight (pre-Bradley) and look less then spectacular in it. He didn't make adjustments against Kotelnik, and at times seem to be folding, and mentally breaking down. I can't see how saturday's results weren't expect. What did you guys expect Maidana-Khan?

people like u have ruined boxing websites.... try reading the art of war and studying the styles of boxing i understand u like what u like but there are other ways of warfare and everyone is different thats a very immature mindframe, if ur a boxing fan u respect all boxing styles but u may favor a certain one... not **** on the other because it has a more careful or different approach
