Why do alot of people act like if a fighter doesnt have ko power that they're boring?

I know this thread was started because everyone sayind the devon alexander vs bradley fight was a dud.

Well tell me this. Can you say what we all saw saturday was a beautiful boxing clinic or a boring amateurish fight between a fighter who uses his head to start a combo, and fighter who talk all this **** and up quiting and acting like a *****. I give my props to bradley but that whole fight was garbage because it wasnt like a technical chess match at all. It was hard to watch a fight when there is barely any punches thrown while showing lil technical skills.

no skills shown really??there was some beautiful defense displyaed and some great counter punches thrown..bradley broke alexander down and took the fight out of him..yea there where head butts but ive seen worst..the option to quit was giving to alexander and he took it..like atlas says his character was tested and he failed..bradley did throw looping punches but his pressue and hand speed are undeniable..he may not have ko power but he has some pop

Yes but i can't appreciate him throwing loopy punches and alexander not capitalizing. The fight was an ugly one sided fight.

Like i said earlier. i give props to bradley but this fight was garbage. Its not like a Floyd, younger Hopkins, whitaker schooling where i can appreciate the boxing clinic and give serious prop too. This was just an ugly one sided beatdown. There was just too much hugging in this fight to actually appreciate. It was a snooze fest all over.

I love blood and KO's but I also love the brilliance of Pernell Whitaker even more than the KO.

but it wasnt due to bradley..alexander made it a snooze fest wit his pitty pat combos,his unwillingness to engage.his holding..he fought scared and it showed..he was tight and saw something in bradley he didnt expect and wasnt preparded for..i saw it before the fight..cunningham kept talking for him..if you are american and your trainer has to talk for you theres a problem..alexander is youg and still very green..bradley is prime ripe and ready..big differance

Because they are MMA fans at heart,if you love boxing you love the fine art yes KO's are exciting but a great fight were both man are still standing after 12 is just as good imo..
