Notice how everyone in the crowd sits while fighters are just boxing? But when someone staggers, gets hurt, or gets dropped, the whole arena goes crazy? That's what they came to see. Adrenaline makes a crowd pleaser, and it's not there when 2 guys are just flicking jabs at each other.Comment

i've got nor argument with that - i was really glad the fight took place. im just saying fights like that one are no good for boxing
and many 'boxing fans' need to get off their 'i appreciate the sweet science and i enjoy boring fights so i'm a better boxing fan than you MMA lovers' high horseComment

I agree the fight Sat was not the best one we have ever seen, but come on ask ya self why??It was Devon's fault put the blame were it should be on Devon..He quit he got his azz beat and was not willing to go balls to the wall..Bradley vs a fighter who is willing(aka Khan/Maidana)would be a great match up because of the willingness to mix it up and take risk..I believe this is all he is trying to say is that ya don't need a KO for a fight to be good or great..
I do like bradley apart from that though - he won me over in the fight against Holt.
And i agree, a KO isn't always necessary (Look at Mosley-Cotto, Mosley DLH1, soon to be Mosley-Pacquiao) - i'm just trying to say if people only watch boxing for exciting fights and KO's doesn't mean they're not a true boxing fanComment

What about Mosley Hoya 1,Berto Collazo,Khan Maidana, ect ect..These fights had drama because there were two fighters willing to fight not just because someone got wobbled or got KO'd or knockdown..These fights had two guys who both refused to lose..If ya have a guy not giving his all for fear or being uncertain it's not both guy's fault..I understand it was not the best fight but why does the guy who was taking risk(Bradley)get any of that blame??
Blame Alexander for initiating the hugfest, but blame Bradley for allowing it. He sure as hell could have done more.Comment

it's a matter of preference really. i don't know why larry gets bothered by other people's preference...to each his own motha****a.Comment

It wasn't just Devon's fault - do you think all that headbutting is acceptable? something like 6 opponents now? all accidental? please...

I was making a generalized statement. Obviously there are exciting boxing matches. But those fights will never get the love that a shootout gets, and that shouldn't surprise people.
