you've got to believe that pac is really a great fighter to match him with martinez. ironically, most of the posters wanting this fight to happen are the ones incessantly trying to discredit pac's boxing career. they're just tired of seeing pac's continued success and they can't accept it.

when floyd went on vacation, they can't find anyone at welter or jr welter that they could give an edge to beat pac so they have to find someone at higher weights and oh boy they're looking at the best middleweight fighter right now.

If Mayweather is scared to risk his zero against a pint sized, one dimensional 'midget' like Pacquiao (as the Mayweather Nation claim), who really thinks he is going to take on the true Middleweight Champion. Floyd Jr will never entertain the possibility of that fight, too much risk, low financial reward (lower than Pacquiao anyway)...

Agreed! Sergio Martinez is a guy that even Floyd Jr wouldn't touch. If Floyd does ever come back from vacation and doesn't do time, he will look at Khan, Bradley or Berto (if not Pacquiao). No way he risks his zero against a guy like Martinez, who could send him out on a stretcher...

Just like he smoke Kermit Cintron. Yes he won, but if he was a great as you guys claim he would have taken him out. Instead Martinez was running and you had Cintron standing in the center of the ring calling him out to engage.

Like I said, Martinez has two decent wins, Williams and Pavlik. Outside of that dudes resume is complete @ss.

Before Paul Williams his best wins were Alex Bunema and Russell Jordan. Martinez should be the last person someone hypes up in an attempt to diss Manny Pacquiao's opponent selection.

Matter fact why is Cotto such a big fight for Martinez when Miguel is a dude Manny made easy work outta. That alone tells you whats up.

Catchweights have always been around and some of the best fights have happened at catchweights. The problem is we have too many fans who cry about everything instead of enjoying fights.

Chavez vs Whitaker was a great fight and so was Pavlik vs Hopkins (for B-hop fans). I get it....it's only a problem when Manny does it.....smh.

3.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for ducking Sergio Martinez. If JMM can go up two divisions to WW, then surely Manny can defend his JMW title at 154. What a b1tch Manny.

4.) Manny Pacquiao is also a coward for demanding a catch-weight for Cotto. There are two reasons to demand a catch-weight, either you are not good enough to compete with that fighter at his natural weight, which is fine..... or you are attempting to drain him to gain an unfair advantage, which is cowardly. Team Pacquiao tried to drain Cotto, because Manny had already fought at 147.

pac will go down as one of the all time greats. very easy to nitpick a resume what matters is that he is a 4 time lineal champ, has a bunch of hall of famers on his resume and has fought from flyweight to welterweight. nothing you can say will erase those acheivments. So hate but down the line your going to look like a complete ass.
