Manny Pacquiao could sign to fight Vitali Klitschko and he would get trashed for his selection of opponent. They would say Vitali is old, slow, too methodical, etc. And for the record let me state that while Manny won't fight Sergio Martinez, neither will Floyd. If Floyd is scared of losing his zero to a little 'midget' like Manny, there is no way he will fight someone much bigger than him either. I always said Floyd should have fought Paul Williams. He wouldn't have KO'd him like Sergio did but he would have counterpunched him all night. But now that boat has sailed. The thing is Floyd is afraid to fight anyone who even remotely has a chance to beat him. Also, one more thing. Everyone says that Bob Arum keeps Manny fights in-house (Clottey, Cotto, Margarito)? What about Floyd, who has fought Hatton, ODLH, JMM and Mosley (all GBP fighters). Nobody has anything to say about that, now do they?

He should not be aloud to fight Martinez. I'm hoping mosley has one fight left and beats pac so we can stop seeing fight this lame competition his promoter over hypes, de la hola never had a chance and was weight drained, hatton was already and over hyped fighter who Floyd ko'd, Cotto had his prided ripped away by margarito, clottey was a statue, but still outlanded manny and busted his face.up, margarito fight was a joke, another come forward no defense punching bag, none of his last five wins are impressive. Least mosley has faster hands and hits harder than his last 5 fights, but Floyd took his confidence as a fighter away.

And Manny already said "one and done" at a fight over 147 lbs. But that doesn't matter to Floyd Jr nuthuggers, they just want to see Manny lose regardless of opponent. And those nuthuggers insist Floyd Jr will fight Sergio Martinez! Really? If he is afraid to possibly lose his zero against a pint sized, one dimensional 'midget' as all the Floyd nuthuggers call him, do you think he will fight the true middleweight champion? If Mayweather fights again and still refuses to fight the best opponent in Pacquiao (and make the biggest purse in the history of boxing), he will probably fight a Bradley, Berto or Khan and force them to 147 (just like Pacquiao would) and then that would be that. I would bet anyone everything I own that Floyd Jr will stay way clear of Martinez until he is at least 40 years old and/or over the hill...

I guarantee if Mayweather would sign to fight Martinez (I think pigs will fly first), it would definitely be at a catchweight. Floyd has never fought above 154 lbs and there is no way in hell he would let the fight be at 160 lbs where Sergio would have the advantage...

seems kinda like a mismatch, not really fair to ask of pac. martinez will probably come in close to 170 lbs. marg cam in big too, but martinez is not going to be a punching bag. plus, he got the 1 punch power (among other attributes).

Thanks 4 noting that pacquiao only fights punching bags who have 0 KO Power!
