people dont realize that pac himself feels comfortable fighting at a fight nite weight of sub 150...its not that he cant make over 150...its more about him going in at a weight he feels comfortable at, and thats sub 150.

Martinez came out and said he'll do this at 153...sooner or later he's gonna ask for 152, then Roach is gonna counter with 150. Then we got Pacquiao vs. Martinez at 150

They get all confident, think making the weight isn't gonna be an issue, and simply look at the money involved. Just how it goes.

This is why I didn't want Martinez to budge, Martinez should be smart enough to know that Pacquiao is running out of credible opponents, the public would have demanded this. Then again Pacquiao and Arum have no shame, so who knows...

a good number of people don't think there's a place in boxing this thing called catchweight since boxing did a pretty good job in classifying weights. what are saying here? that catchweight suckz but if it involves Pac, fine and dandy!

If a catchweight can get a fight done that would seem otherwise impossible....then I'm all for them.

roberto duran was about the same size as pacquiao and fought at middleweight, that's 160.

i don't think pac needs to fight martinez but he should if he want to an 8 divison champ. it seems like everybody has forgoten that manny pacquiao is the WBC 154 junior middleweight champ. that belt was sergio's before he was stripped and the WBC put on that farce for manny to win it against that bum margarito. so if manny doesn't fight a real 154 champ then his 154 title is garbage.

Pac is a small welterweight and Sergio is a middleweight. Manny will fight who ever is put infront of him he has done it many times. If Pac fights Sergio defenitely it will be a catch weight to be fair. If Manny beats Sergio a lot of fans will critisize it although catchweight has been practised since the time of Henry Armastrong and is legit. Instead Robert Garcia should suggest that his boy Brandon Rios should fight a legit fighter.

So legit 154 pounders can't fight for the title because the title holder can't make weight.? YEAH, that title should've never been up for grabs on that bull**** fight..... PEOPLE WOUNDER WHYBOXING IS DYING.

Martinez will get peanuts w/o Pacquiao. Manny is the big draw and not Sergio. To be the best P4P Martinez should fight a legit middleweight and fighters bigger than him. I'm not against him but against people who try to hype him though not have done what Pac has done.

Least mosley has faster hands and hits harder than his last 5 fights, but Floyd took his confidence as a fighter away.
Wake me up when Floyd decided to fight Cotto, Margrito, Martinez and Pac. Ok?

when chavez jr gets the WBC strap I bet manny will fight him at 160. it's not about weight but it's about skill. sergio martinez is too skilled and too big. bob arum will never let manny get near anybody that dangerous.

bet on it, manny's last fight will be against chavez jr for the WBC title.
