Pac beats them all at this point. His stamina and aggressive attack added to his side to side movement...he beats Bradley, Alexander, Khan, and Mayweather.
It's obvious why Floyd is hesitant to fight him, why you think he is asking for the tests? He doesn't think that someone can naturally be as good as Pac is, i.e; he already doubts that he could beat him. He knows that when all the roadblocks are gone and the fight becomes a reality, his only recourse will be to actually fight the "great little fighter", or just duck him.
First few rds would be close but as in all his other recent fights, the accumulative damage would mount and Mayweather quits on his stool or fakes some injury. A dude who has NEVER been hurt in a fight to a guy that is getting smacked up....how do you think he will handle that in the biggest fight of his career? Dude will fall to pieces mentally....I promise you that, just like Alexander did last night. Floyd seems to be pretty tight mentally but he has faced very limited adversity in his fights....once he gets cut or his eye is nearly swollen shut, Floyd is going to be a shell of himself.
Fights are usually WON or LOST before Round one!!!Last edited by jbpanama; 01-30-2011, 03:58 PM.Comment

Shortly after his 10 round technical decision victory over Devon Alexander at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan, members of the media asked WBO/WBC junior welterweight champion Tim Bradley for his opinion on why Floyd Mayweather has not agreed to face Manny Pacquiao. "He's scared man. Floyd don't want to fight that."

I don't know which statement was made first but fact that
there are more than one statement/excuse is less than reassuring
to me from Pac's side.Comment

I wasn't making any excuses for Zab, but you can't deny that his fights always go this way- he comes out looking sharp and in top form then he starts to slow in the mid rounds, then gets frustrated, and beat up. Happened against Baldomir, Floyd, Clottey, Cotto, and even Matthysse recently. Not that it matters since I wasn't comparing Zab to anyone or trying to excuse his usual performance, just saying (which is undeniable) he had Floyd off balance and looking terrible early, even knocking him down from a counter right hook. This was due to his southpaw stance and speed... back in '06.
How about you address the second half of my post.Comment

If Floyd finds Manny with the jab which he probably will, Pacs gets the skin whooped of his a$$. If he learns how to block and can stop floyd from scoring, he can knock floyd out in the first 5rds. Which is more probable??Comment

MAYWEATHER IS INDEED VERY SKITTISH AND OPPORTUNISTIC JUST LIKE PAC IS HE PREFERS TO FIGHT GUYS ON THEIR WAY OUT, HOWEVER IT IS an easy win for mayweather, nobody on earth is going to convince me a guy that ate 225 of margaritos shots to the head is going to beat a mayweather, pac doesnt have the defense to beat mayweather, hell get boxed to shreds plain and simple, pac is the peoples champion but that doesnt mean he has what it takes to beat someody that has all the tools he does plus more like a Mayweather.if manroid takes the tests up until day of the fight the fight will come off, if i were mayweather id stick to that just to piss manroid off, obviousley hes hiding something if he wants a 2week cutoff, there is absolutley no legitamate reason to not take random testing.
that tells me they don't want the fight how they are really letting off.

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

"It would have to be a catch weight, probably 143, 144 (pounds)," Roach said. "I don't think it would be at 147. But Manny's not afraid of anyone."
