The former home of the Detroit Lions and Pistons was configured to put the ring in a corner of an end zone, putting curtains up to create a relatively intimate venue with 9,000 seats on the floor and lower bowl. About half those seats seemed to be filled, but the announced attendance was 6,247.
Members of the military, police officers, firefighters, emergency medical service personnel and military veterans were admitted free if they showed up in uniform by the Silverdome's new owners, who are trying to make the venue viable.
Timothy Bradley defended his 140-pound WBO title and took Devon Alexander's WBC belt, winning a unanimous technical decision after the fight was stopped in the 10th round Saturday night.

It sounded like there was 2000 people in the crowd it was weak.
Crowd was weak sauce but the fight was boring. They were much better during the Paris and Augustus fight. Honestly, Dirrell/Abraham despite only having about 4,000 people was a more lively crowd because it actually had a fighter from here and the whole USA V Germany thing. The crowd really didn't have a rooting interest for either fighter. I on the other hand was getting in a heated debate with the dudes behind me backing Tim. **** almost got into a lil scuffle.
Yeah and I seen about 3 people in their military uniform. What's your point?
the rest of the crowd were probably off-duty cops and firefighters. they didn't need to be in uniform and free-load off the event because the tickets were so cheap anyways
Fight was okay, I was drunk. I did enjoy the undercards though. I've been to a lot of big time fights and I thought last nights undercards were great. Lot of toe to toe action and a lot of kayos. Main event was arguably the worst fight of the 10.
its a poor attendance. two undefeated world champs, you would of thought more fans would have been interested. having said that, the fight turned out to be not that good anyways!

You had to be in the uniform though to get in. I didn't see many people suited up to be honest. I seen more fake pimps than anything.
