"I lost to him because I had to lose that day"

This is my first time seeing that video and man, you know damn well Arum has the money and power to pull off a lot of sneaky **** under the table. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight was actually fixed.

Yeah, that wasn't a very smart post.

And for the record, I thought that fight was fixed before it even took place. Same with the Margarito fight. Let's see Manny fight someone who isn't promoted by Bob Arum/Top Rank, and see how he fares. Right now he's the cash cow, and Bobby Boy knows he'll make millions of dollars for fighting sub-par opponents. Or opponents who are down to make millions for taking a fight.

          You guys are unbelievably ******!

If you were Joshua Clottey, or any fighter for this matter, would you accept any cash **** that will be given to you and give away the future fame and more fights that you will gain from beating the Pound 4 Pound number 1 fighter in the world?

I don't ****ing think so losers. Get a life idiots

Hes always been a guy that sits behind his guard and waits until his opponent finishes, and then starts to lead. He doesnt mix offense and defense. I said since the fight was signed that Pacquiao would just bounce combos off his guard all night and win a decision, and...tada! what a surprise.

people were so busy making excuses for him that they dont recognise what he really is. They got so hung up on him 'breaking his hand' against Margarito(which turned out to be a minor injury at worst) that they ignored the fact that Margarito shut him down with simply a huge workrate.

Clottey has always been this type of fighter.
that's the best answer... Top Rank wouldn't have to fix this fight, they know how Clottey fights, know Manny can pop all night and know that the spectre of being a KO victim would weigh heavily on any fighter's mind. If Clottey made the weight and got into the ring he'd find a way to lose or mess it up. Just like with Cotto and Margs (both winnable bouts imo). **** even if Clottey had won, they could schedule a rematch and Arum would make more $$ and have 2 top fighters to promote to the public. I think Top Rank is sleazy for their match making but "the fix" is a reach.
