I'm not surprised. I was excited for the fight but always figured stylistically, we weren't gonna get a classic (though I expected better than what we got). I thought the fact that it was prime vs prime might just add something but Devon was too nervous, stiff, wasn't committing to his punches, holding, and probably just not good enough.
I don't like to denigrate fighters and call them quitters but Devon pulled a b*tch move yesterday, he definitely wanted a way out. But it wasn't even like he was getting pulverised like Ortiz was against Maidana. No wonder HBO ain't enthusiastic after that farce. He has to earn the goodwill back now.
With regards to Bradley, I don't think his stock has fallen too much, it's another good win on his JWW resume, and he at least tried to make a fight of it. I'm not particularlt a fan of his but the kid is a good fighter, and he versus Khan or Maidana would be tremendous fights.
