Five minutes foar an accidental foul? I've only seen fighters receive the five minutes to recover after an intentional "accidental low blow"

Well, the doctor was only doing his job. Devon seemed to be closing his eyes on purpose every time the doctor told him to open them. When a fighter says he can't see, the doctor has no choice to stop it. However, I think Devon wanted a way out and found it. If Devon is smart, he will forget the rematch and move on. Nothing will change in a return bout and it was not that aesthetically pleasing to watch. He should go back to the drawing board and maybe give Kotelnik a rematch (and try to erase that embarrassment and get some confidence back) and Bradley should move on to Khan, Maidana or even Zab Judah if either Khan or Maidana can't be made...

Easy for someone to say another person is faking when they're not the person in the exact situation. I think ****m Richardson said it best when talking about the Hopkins vs RJJ fight.

****m: At home on my my couch i'm 799 and 0. I wish they'd let me push my couch ringside. On my couch I can tell you how to fight everybody, I can tell you how to beat everybody, on my couch I can tell you some of the things the Phillies need to be doing. So you sitting at home and you posted up, now i'm sitting in front of Bernard hopkins and it's a crucial moment for me because my fighter sits in front of me and he can't see. Roy hit him in the back of the head, if yall watched it, now he's hard with his jab trying to find Roy Jones. But when you're home you have the privilege to sit there and put a chip in you mouth and say "Oh he's faking" because YOU'VE been hit in the back of the head so many times and it's never effected YOU like that. See home is a comfortable place to be and point the finger and make assumptions. Like I said at home i'm flawless, you put me on that couch i'm a beast! I thought about taking one of those cushions and bringing it ringside, haha I'm a monster on this cushion!!

Alexander... Thought You Were Bringing Bradley TheraFlu.

Alexander is a weasel. He was getting drummed for ten rounds when a clash of heads happened. It didn't happen in round 2. It didn't happen in round 5. It happened in ROUND 10. What had you been doing for 9 rounds Alexander, except for losing most the fight in all the judges eyes? I thought you said you were "bringing TheraFlu for Bradley's flu symptoms he fought off in camp". Sounds like someone should have brought Alexander a box of Bandaids. So now Alexander wants to 'exercise his rematch clause" immediately for two reasons. 1) He recognized that although Bradley doesn't hit hard enough to kock him out, it's his best payday out there, without getting hurt. He can't beat Bradley, but he won't get knocked out or seriously hurt either, unless another clash of heads. The second reason is 2) Alexander knows he'd get hurt and or knocked out by all the other named/ranked contenders. Pacquiao, Mosley, Cotto, Khan, Maidana, Margarito, all providing Devon a big payday, would all kill Alexander early in the fight. So his best payday, and least punishment is to heal his wounds, and go fight Bradley soon, before Bradley gets dismantled by all the beforementioned guys I just listed. Bradley can't beat any of them either, but he has Alexander's number. Devon Alexander is soft.

to me, i thought it looked like alexander wanted to buy some time or maybe look to getting a point taken from bradley. i don't know, but it seemed like one of the two.

also alexander didn't seem to protest, maybe he was wanting to go to the scorecards thinking he was ahead.

i know the it was the refs decision, i just didn't see any urgency to continue from alexander.

and from time to time i agree with merchant or any of the hbo crew, i too really am not clamoring for the rematch.

i was excited to see this fight but now that it has happened and really didn't live up to the expectations and with a deflated ending, i would rather see the guys fight someone else before they get it on again.

there are some really good match ups for these guys, i'd rather see them before i see bradley and alexander go at it again.

decent scrap though, high level of skill and level of fighting, just not anything to really be note worthy.

What happen to "I'd die the ring" before Bradley beat me?

                  coward fighter!

It should have been a technical K.O.

The Doctor really wants Alexander to continue, but he made excuses...

Man I am glad all of you sitting at home can call a man who took several head butts to the head a coward. A lot of you are quite classy...

hahaha put a chip in my mouth lmao...I see what you're saying bro.

But you also have to take into consideration that many fight fans have seen movies, have seen other fights, have been in fights ourselves. We can tell when someone is acting or not. And ****m is in the ring. A fan is at home where he/she can pause, slow, rewind fights and see certain things that they cant. Thats why they watch film of fighters to learn cuz u see it from a different view. For example: Cintron went to a knee and said Martinez head butt him. Because i was at home i was able to rewind and slow it down to see that it was a left that hit him. WHich led me to believe that he was acting while eating chips lol
