Looked that way to me too, I mean the clash was on the opposite side of the head not really the eye he was complaining about.

The last headbutt happened on the left eye(which wasn't cut)...the butt was so hard it caused his eye to twitch and he couldn't keep it open...

We could all see him trying to keep it open when the ref asked him...

As far as the burning it may have been from the vaseline(off of Bradley's head) or sweat going into his eye...

Anyone with eyes knows that fight was still on the table, why quit?

Feel free to disagree, but I don't think Devon quit...

*I would have asked for a 5 min break like from a low blow if I was Devon*
Seemed like he was frustrated. I think he thought the score was up for grabs and he wanted a way out. He could've kept going, he chose to quit

My thought was he was trying to open it but the nerves in his eye kept twitching...the doctor said in an interview(its on BS now) that he thought his nerve was damaged...

He cudda faked it..the yelling didn't help...but idk...

I don't think this is as suspect as Dirrell...

I think he kinda figured "well..it COULD be close now but after 12 rounds it won't be. I don't have alot left so I need out."

It did seem to me like a bad acting job. Boxers are used to being hit with big punches, your just kinda used to it. It still hurts but your used to it, I don't think a true professional is going to be screaming "Ahhhh! Ahhhh""

You think Dirrell faked it? Interesting. I gave him the benefit of the doubt but it is possible.

I genuinely think Alexander wanted the fight to head to the cards. Bradley was fighting dirty, something Alexander didn't seem to like, it really discouraged him. It was a poor fight due to a bad clash of styles in my opinion, both fighters look cautious throughout.

You are right on that. Guys on here don't even know the courage it takes just to step into the ring with someone let alone a major fight.

I'm not calling him a coward at all....but I do think he quit.

Sometimes in a fight, you're going to get cut....

Sometimes in a fight, you're going to sweat...

Sometimes in a fight, the sweat is going to go into your cut...

How you handle it, speaks of your heart, and determination.

Screaming "IT BURNS!!" and complaining about the wrong eye.... that just doesn't do much for you.

I give Dirrell the benefit of the doubt too but I think it was more suspect than this...the punch from Abraham didn't look devastating to me...and Dirrell wasn't taking a beating, he was doing real well until the 11th...but thatz another issue...
