He quit and the fight wasn't close.

It was also funny that when the doctor was trying to look at his eyes, he kept stalling saying he couldn't open them because it burned,

    then,

as soon as he realized the fight was over,

they were wide open with no problems.

His eyes were burning just as much as Campbell seen spots.

The last headbutt happened on the left eye(which wasn't cut)...the butt was so hard it caused his eye to twitch and he couldn't keep it open...

We could all see him trying to keep it open when the ref asked him...

As far as the burning it may have been from the vaseline(off of Bradley's head) or sweat going into his eye...

Anyone with eyes knows that fight was still on the table, why quit?

Feel free to disagree, but I don't think Devon quit...

*I would have asked for a 5 min break like from a low blow if I was Devon*

Im not sure if he quit or not but the fact that the butt was on the other eye is su****ious. As far as quitting when the fight is even Kosta Tszu did that against Hatton and he was a very good fighter with an unquestionable heart up to that point.

Alexander was in a physical brawl with a determined grown man. IMHO Alexander didn't appreciate the butts, elbows, blows to the back of the head, punches in the clinch, etc etc. But here's the catch, he was doing the same damn thing. Bradley simply wanted it more....for me this is an example of putting something in a fighter's head like watch for butts, low blows, etc and when push comes to shove his will got weak and he used an excuse to not have to continue fighting. I think Alexander is a real good fighter but he seems sorta like a mental midget. I don't think he has the determination nor mental capacity to know where he stands during a fight (scorewise) to alter tactics. Sort of like Arthur Abraham. Bradley on the other hand seems determined and tactical During a fight. Almost cerebral. I don't think Alexander is a wuss but he found himself in a sloppy phonebooth type brawl and he wanted no part of that. He prefers to swim and not get wet.
