Augustas has been a true pleasure to watch. One of the most entertaining styles ever! Sad if he got robbed but kinda punctuates the story of his career. Thank You Augustus..

Well, u gotta look at it this way, Augustus was retiring reguardless. At least this way, the young guy will still have a chance. (but unless he checks that stamina, it will be just as short lived).

I wish I could throw Augustus a big party or something, to show that all us fans really appreciate his fighting style and how willing he was to fight anywhere and everywhere, regardless of being robbed so many times.

            heres to you, Augustus.

I was ready to call it quits as far as watching boxing ten years ago. I stumbled across Augustus fighting Ward on ESPN and was instantly hooked on his style. I had the chance to see Augustus fight in person two times. The first time was in Little Rock, AR against Russell Jones and then a second time against Marteze Logan in Kansas City, MO. The guy is a legit performer and always fought to win AND entertain. There's supposedly a guy who has been traveling with him for the last two or three years filming a documentary about Augustus. Hopefully, the film becomes available to the public at some point. Congratulations, Emmanuel.

Had a chance to spend some time with Emmanuel after the fight, as I was at the same hotel, and he was hanging out in the restaurant.

Needless to say, he was an absolute pleasure. No bitterness whatsover, and seemed to really enjoy relaxing, and talking boxing.

Emmanuel's whole camp, "Team Augustus" were great guys.

Anyhow, when the subject of his 'retirement' was brought up, he didn't seem to be very committed to that at all.

Don't be surprised to see the Drunkin Master announced as a last minute replacement sometime in the future, where he will of course, pour out his heart and soul.

Parris' lack of power will really hurt him later on. It hurt him against Augustus. It's a shame because the kid has skills. I'm talking real skills, like how they do out in the midwest.
