You are right. His hands are quick, they just aren't that heavy.

I was there. It was the fight right before Bradley/Alexander, so I would assume the camera's were rolling.

Pretty sure it wasn't part of the HBO broadcast though. May have run on Sky Sports in the UK?

It's really a shame that Emmanual Augustus never got a title shot. Back in the day I felt that if Gatti, Zab or Sharmba had given him a title shot he would have probably won.

I had the pleasure of seeing him fight live in Detroit against Floyd Mayweather.

To this date Floyd will still say that his toughest fight was Emmanual Burton Augustus.

I was there and I saw first hand how badly Floyd struggled with him. Burton kept a strong jab in Mayweathers grill and busted both his nostrils and had him bleeding profusely. Floyd ate a lot of leather in that fight.

Emmanual has always been an entertaining fighter a joy to watch.

          Thank you AUGUSTUS!!

one of the only times I remember floyd bleeding.

anyways, I don't think Augustus is done for good. He posted something on his facebook that leads one to believe he's not ready to call it a career.
