from 2005-10 I'd rank Pac, Cotto, FLoyd, JMM, Hopkins. Thats porbably what the TS meant when he said Cotto's generation..Cotto faced all tough competition..Cotto faced better competition than any boxers in that span..

LOL @ Hatton had a better resume..need to watch some more boxing.

I just define it at the time of your reign at the top. I think that is the best way to determine it.

Mosley and Wlad > Cotto in that time period.

only reason any1 would put margarito above cotto is because he beat him head to head. but that victory has a black cloud over it since he got caught trying 2 load up in his next fight. logic leans toward him probably having loaded gloves vs cotto. with all that 2 consider, he wont be put ahead of cotto in some peoples list.

I think you can easily put 5 better boxers than Cotto right now easily. Honestly, I have him tied with Margarito/Froch/Adamek/Montiel/Calderon.

                There is......
                The Klits
                Hopkins
                Pac
                Mayweather
                Marquez(JM)
                Wonjongkam
                Mosley

Cotto is definitely higher than Margarito p4p.

Marquez bros, Morales, Barrera, Pacquiao, Mayweather, and Hopkins are definitely higher than Cotto though, and you could throw in a lot of other guys in the discussion as well.

Would yall say that Winky Wright would be above Cotto?

He also has a win vs Martinez and beat Clottey more decisively. Don't forget Cintron x 2.
