being born in england doesnt necessarily mean he's english/englander...it basically means he's a citizen of england but nationality wise, he is pakistanian/iranian/****** or whatever his dad is.

His nationality is British. He's not even second generation British - he's third generation British. You're confusing nationality with ethnicity. That's like claiming that Floyd isn't an American. Of course he is.

I think Indy has a point if this was not true why did Amir say "If I was white I would be bigger in England but since I'm asian I don't get the credit I deserve." He was quoted by the media.

He is English by nationality but his family is Pakistani and his traditions and customs remain that way.
