Has Amir Khan ever faced a world class opponent the same height as him?

    Marcos Maidana
    Paulie Mallanagi
    Barrera
    Kotelnik

All opponents who were troubled by Amirs reach and height. The last time Amir fought a world class boxer the same height was Braidis Prescott and look what happened.

Khan is making millions fighting midgets. How can be a boxer be champion of the world when he cant even fight a boxer the same height as he is?

Granted he is making weight but he still has a significant height and reach advantage over all his opponents, he is avoiding guys like Lamont Peterson because he knows he cant use his reach advantage.

Reminds me of Bernard Hopkins, fighting all midgets.

yeah that's why Team Peterson turned down a 200K pay day to fight Amir. Double the money he made against Ortiz.

So Khan should cut off his head and forearms to accomodate his future opposition?

            Gotcha

              Dear Amir Khan,

Please fight shorter and punch at the target instead of through it. It's boring to see you fight to your potential. Artificially handicap your power and speed too, because no one will consider you elite unless you can defeat a boxer without using your gifts and skills set. Never mind that it is up to your opponents to turn your advantages against you, I expect you and YOU alone to do that. While you're at it, please make your chin more available. Now, drained of your advantages and exposing your liability, I expect you to win or else you are a chump.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter. BTW, please never win again.

So now its Khan fault that the better fighters at 140 are shorter than him and have shorter arms? I agree. Khan should turn down the fights against Alexander, Bradley and other good talents as he must wait for a taller fighter to appear.

Dont even give me that BS about Peterson, he (Peterson) clearly priced himself out. Asking for money you and your talent are not worth is a **** move.

                  Fact:

Amir Khan is 5'10" himself. Tim Bradley is 5'6" and Devon Alexander is 5'7". Therefore, Amir Khan is the only world-class fighter at 140lbs that is over 5'8"

Lamont Peterson is not "world-class", Victor Ortiz is not "world-class" (yet).

Khan is very big for his division. He'd make a big welterweight infact.

                  At Welterweight:

                  - Mayweather (5'8")
                  - Pacquiao (5'6.5")
                  - Mosley (5'9")
                  - Berto (5'8.5")
                  - Zaveck (5'7.5")
                  - Canelo Alvarez (5'9")

As you can see, Khan is taller than all of the top Welterweights, so realistically speaking. Khan may never fight a "world-class" opponent that is the same height as him (or taller) until he moves up to 154lbs.
