  • Can some one explain to me what Bradley and Alexander have done

Really? Good fighters but haven't done jack **** yet in reality.

Saturday will be the first real big win either of them will have and even then both guys are pretty untested.

Well if Braehmer and Shumenov had fought there would have been a unified champ.

      Doesn't mean much.

Well people are creaming themselves over a fight which would have been two top 10-15 fighters decades ago.

Good fight, yes. But these guys are nothing special.

Bradley has been some decent opposition but its hardly a murderer's row.

Alexander has done even less including getting outclassed in his last fight.

              -Witter was #1
-Holt was top 5 and WBO titlist
-Campbell was the unified WBA, WBO, IBF titlist at lightweight, just coming off of the Funeka win
              -Lamont Peterson was top 10
-Abregu was top 10 at 147
-Miguel Vazquez went on to be IBF titlist at 135

              Bradley beat them all

-Witter was top 5, never been stopped
-Urango was top 10 coming off his biggest win, never been stopped
              -Kotelnik was top 10

              Alexander has W's over them

Boxing "fans" struggle with short term memory. If they'd let it "marinate", people would be mad it wasn't happening.

I agree somewhat. I don't think Bradley deserves to be top-10 P4P just yet. If he's top-10 P4P then so is Khan, who IMO has better wins on his resume (prime-Kotelnik, somewhat prime-Malignaggi, prime-Maidana, past-prime Barrera).

However, the winner of this fight should be top-10 P4P. If Bradley wins then he should be 7th or 8th because his body of work up to know is better than Alexander's. If Alexander wins then he should be 10th.

Alexander has been doing good work, but what Bradley has shown IMO is very praiseworthy. Going to Witter's backyard and earning that decision when very few knew much about him was pretty impressive. He's also one of the more truly athletically gifted fighters in the game.

these people make me laugh. everyone thinks these fighters bradley are garbage AFTER the fact. Witter was murking fools and hadn't lost in almost 10 years when bradley travelled to witter's backyard to take his title in a hotly contested damn good fight. holt was a legit champ with 1 punch ko power.
