He was neither in his last two fights. I voted brawler cause there was no third choice. He is just trying to land that big punch. Was he a better boxer when his dad trained him? I think so.

I don't think he is a counter puncher but you calling Shane a brawler is just as inaccurate.

Hard to call him either. He tends to brawl and certainly isn't a counterpuncher. But it's hard to describe his style. Sort of unique.

Those options are dumb because Shane is neither. Mosley has always been a boxer puncher.

I'm not dissing the dude. The dude dissed me in his thread, ACTUALLY. So we agreed to make a thread about it to ask boxing fans. Don't "guess" if this is a diss. If you have a concern, then ASK me. We as fans are discussing it, and again, I never dissed buddy.

If you want to say he is a boxer-puncher, that is fine, I can agree with that. He definitely has brawled in his career moreso than naturally counter-punched his opponents. Shane has always look for the big shots and has always had bad intentions with every punch he's throws (besides that flickly little jab) The fact remains, he has NEVER EVER been a "natural counterpuncher" as TX suggested.

Shane is a "Boxer-Puncher" I wouldnt call him a brawler. Thats too harsh!
He does have some skill. Alot of skill actually.

But his style is more "Boxer-Puncher"

He is a bit of both~

I understand why people dog his boxing abilities even I do it but he is not an awful boxer. Against boxers that are superior to Shane they can make him look awful but that is what happens when you run into someone better.

Also Shane does some subtle things to not take a ton of punches, he has not really taken that many bad beating even though he suffered several bad loses so it is not like he has zero abilities to defend himself other than throwing blows.
