Either way, that fight was fought at 158, and he lost 20 pounds in 30 days. I assume that he probably weighs close to that now. Him coming down to 153 will still be a lot to handle. It is very relevant.

Martinez fought Paul Williams who has a 82" reach and is 4-5 inches taller than him. Those stats don't win fights. If Martinez can fight those disadvantages and win so could Pac.

Pac only fights at 147 now. Either make that weight or find someone else but fighting Pac means making more $$$ in one night than Martinez has made in his entire life.

yeah its sad that marg weighed like 166 or 165 on fight night when he fought pac and martinez weighed 167.6 on fight night against PW on fight night but now all of a sudden someone that size is just waAAAAy to big for pac, when he had no trouble at all vs marg he dominated the whole fight with ease! these dudes are straight up jokes!!!! not to mention doesnt pac have a belt at 154? i just dont get the logic in these people!

The logic was stated before the Marg fight.

Arum, Roach and Team Pac wanted Manny to become the 1st fighter ever to win an 8th title in 8 different weight classes. They also said that win or lose, he would go down to 147 because 154 is too high for Pac. He's going to be stripped of the title, it will become vacant, and Pac, as we all know is back at 147 fighting Sugar in May...
