Who cares about Mayweather fans that doesnt want to embrace this? Any boxing fan that doesnt embrace any boxing move on national TV need their heads checked period!!! They can hate on the fight but not the move, The move is brilliant but the fight stinks.

As I have said many times when Pac Berto was being discussed. I think its a great match up an would love to see it. But Martinez who is a career JMW wants the belt that Pac is holding ALONG with the money. I've said that a fight with Berto who's undefeated and could unify the belts would be great but Pac fighting a LEGIT JMW who just beat him at FOTY and title Pac holds would be great. Let alone Pac fighting a southpaw in which in very interested in seeing.

As I just explained Martinez deserves the Pay day. There's more of a storyline for a selling point. Plus I personally like Martinez over Berto. I don't know what your trying to get me to say...

One would like to think. Arum didn't. But that selling point is one of the MANY posts that I made when saying that Pac/ARUM better choose wisely. They didn't.

Pirog? What money would that bring? Pac has Sergio's belt. The money he wants to make. They both fight at JMW. What more can you ask for. Yet fighting Berto AT WW to unify the titles would be great too. BUT IMO Martinez over Berto when DESERVING it. What has Berto done? What has Martinez done?

Not enough for you to have an opinion of being a "fanboy" based off a 24/7 comment. Its whatever though.....
Now this is a good post. This is a post I can agree with. JMM had 2 chances already. Does he deserve a third one? Meh at 135 anything he doesn't deserve. Not more than the guys you mention because he has done the same thing they have in that respective weight-class. Which is absolutely nothing.

Exactly Pirog right? Here is the thing with mentioning about wanting the belt back. People should stop saying that. Because, it is not about him wanting the belt back. Dibella straight up told me and I will quote what Dibella told me about why they won't fight Pirog.

"Fuck Pirog. Sergio was stripped by WBO and Pirog took his title"

That is what Dibella. So if it is about wanting the title back then they should go and fight Pirog.

But, is not about wanting the title back is all about the money and that is the only thing that it is about. And, there is nothing wrong with that at all. So people stop saying "wanting the belt back"

I see what you're saying about Martinez deserving more than Berto. But, we all knew beforehand of the Magarito fight that it was a one and done deal. That right after that fight he would campaign at 147. That he was going to back down. It was the same as Floyd fought Oscar. Prior to that we all knew Floyd wasn't going to stay there. We knew it was a one and done deal and that he was going to go back down.

Yes but JMM is not done. He's still winning. More than Clottey, Margarito and Mosley.

Even for Pac, he's no god man.
no doubt but he's proven that size dose not matter. Its about styles when it comes to Pac. A style is what gives him problems not size.

Well the same thing is very well likely to happen to JMM III at 140 or above. Which would make it no different. The only reason the fights were shit because he blew them out?So if it was competitive he would deserve credit? So if he blows JMM out it would equate into a shit fight.
Im just saying its better than Mosley as he is winning and is a champion. Mosley is not. Clottey was not and Margarito was not. JMM deserves a shot more than any of them.

        Then why bring them up?
Because what Arum says will most likely happen. A lot of what I was saying stems off his agenda.

Well i'm thinking more of a selling point. As I have a lot of friends who are MMA fans and not boxing. I have to SELL them the fight with titles and all the drama along with it to make it interesting to them. Plus its just the way I think. Anyway I know its not all about the title. More about the money and Sergio has said he wants the big money fights and called out Mayweather and Pac.

Top 3 for me on Pac fighting is Mayweather, Martinez and Berto with Bradley/Alexander next in line. Like you said it was one and done deal for Pac at JMW. I just hate when people say the same about Mayweather as yes it was a one and done but he did it vs Hoya AT JMW and agreed to what ever Hoya wanted. It was a great win for Mayweather at JMW unlike Pac's fight at JMW. To do better than Mayweather Pac would need to fight Sergio. He wouldnt even have to beat him. Just get in the ring and he does more than Mayweather at JMW IMO. I'm hoping since Pac's fighting Mosley. Mayweather when he returns from court fights Berto since Martinez is signed to fight.

Anyway its sad to know that Mosley is going to be punished. I already had to watch Jones Jr being punished after a great career. But hey Mosley's getting paid.

Missed that part.... I'm entertaining my 2 year old son and have been are entire convo. Takes talent.

But Yea who cares about Pirog, Martinez is making the right move. I just hope to see Mayweather or Pac fight him sometime in the future. Priog wont bring Sergio anything right now but a bunch of people saying he's ducking someone else as nobody really knows Priog.

No doubt. I like that CBS is involved. I hope FOX and ABC picks up on this.

You guys are arguing about the wrong SHIT in this thread.

It's not about the fight, it's about boxing. Ya the fight is a bs fight, but so what at this point.

115 million people during primetime get a look inside of the most liked, and one of the top two most popular fighters in the world. They also get to see another ATG in Shane Mosley. These will be fans that haven't had a deep look inside the sport like this is 30 years if ever.

Quit arguing about the fight, THIS IS GREAT FOR BOXING.
