its probably gonna be very hard for them to reach an agreement on where to fight. the money is in england but johnson has virtually no chance of getting a decision there and froch is very hard to finish. glen probably wont get another big fight if he loses even if its a robbery.

i can see froch pressing for nottingham, glen shouldnt fight him there. i know hes "the road warrior" but it just isnt smart under these circumstances and at this stage of his career. dont think froch has much of a name in florida where johnson is based either so they are probably trying to get it to a neutral venue which can be difficult.

Ye Froch who has had 6-7 tought fights mostly overseas and who is CHAMPION shouldn't fight in his hometown; the opposite of home town Andre FrWard.

Johnson is a replacement, he shouldn't get a say and should be grateful he's even in at this late stage.

Are you joking? Why should it be in Florida? You do know Froch is the champion dont you?

I hear the arguments but as said Froch is the champ and an original in the line up of the tournament I agree he surely has more bargaining power, then again Hennessey is in charge of that And even with the various factors discussed, both fighters wanting at least a neutral location, it still surely could be sorted by now. We've known they'd be facing each other for nearly 2 months now.

Hopefully it's in Nottingham (or anywhere in the UK) but if not it'd be good to get it sorted soon as I want to go and if it means crossing the Atlantic it requires a bit of planning and saving

Froch should demand the fight in Nottingham or atleast London. He is the champ and after fighting taylor in america, kessler in denmark and abraham in europe he should fight at home. Johnson is a no name, a replacement who only beat up on that joke of a fighter called alan green.

the semi finals and the finals are contracted to be in the united states. it's not gonna be in england unless they somehow ignore the contract.

                    • The Super Six World Boxing Classic semifinal between super middleweight titlist Carl Froch (27-1, 20 KOs) and Glen Johnson (51-14-2, 35 KOs), originally scheculed for May 21, is moving to a new date, likely June 4, Johnson co-promoter Leon Margules told ESPN.com. Showtime is not anxious to butt heads with a major HBO card the same night that features the Jean Pascal-Bernard Hopkins light heavyweight championship rematch. Margules said the site is still up in the air, but the leading contenders are Quebec City and Atlantic City, N.J. "It could be either of them," Margules said. "Atlantic City became a player when the Nonito Donaire fight that was supposed to be there fell through." Top Rank had planned to do a Donaire fight in Atlantic City in conjunction with Caesars Atlantic City on May 28, but that is off now that Donaire has jumped to rival Golden Boy Promotions. Regardless of what happens in the eventual lawsuit over the move, if Donaire still fights May 28, it will be on the West Coast, leaving Caesars to look for another significant early summer fight.
