The funny thing this would be similar to the move that Floyd pulled to get the Oscar fight, extricating himself from Arum so Oscar would deal with him more easily.

Arum would make the fight right there because he would have essentially got his get backs on GBP and Haymon, I am sure that was a long time ambition of his.

Don king has done alot of ****ty things to his fighters over the years, that's why I called him a snake. He is a super promoter though, u can't take that away from him. If he finds a way to make this fight happen, all is forgiven and I'll never call him a snake again, PROMISE

I don't see Floyd moving away from Haymon but hey, stranger things have happened. And I def don't think that's why the fight died. The Arum move was a power move. King? IDK...

Arum says the same thing during promotion for eeeeeeeeevery Pacquiao fight and says it again after every Pacquiao fight then up pops a list of fighters for Pacs next fight...a list of fighters that aren't Floyd Mayweather or has Floyds name tagged on the end to garner headlines, with one of the fighters making noises of how they basically have a deal tied up already with Arum.

I honestly don't believe Arum has had Mayweather in mind for anything but promoting Manny's fights and keeping us fans hangin on the prospect of the Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight happening since the mediator negotiations. The Margarito and Mosley fights were definitely pre-decided.

I can't properly speculate about Haymons and Floyd's advisors' roles because they have been so bloody quiet, but Arum has been pretty easy to read.

TBH The only way us fans can force guys like Manny and Floyd to fight is by affecting their pockets.

King, the plotting bastard that he is, knows how to manipulate and motivate divas into fighting each other.

Yea Floyd would only have to really ditch GBP, Haymon might advise him against going to King but is that going to force a split in their relationship I don't see why it would have too.

Arum would probably be satisfied with cutting GBP out since Floyd is their biggest guy.

King might have a super big con job going on Floyd though, it has been going on a long time I wouldn't put anything past him.

It could happen. But as you point out, it would require Haymon's blessing.

Even though this fight needs no selling to have don king promoting this fight will be really insane. Besides all the tactics king uses to cheat his fighters but when it comes to promoting hype fights in press conferences with the gify of gab there is no one better than king. I remember when king did some show in england with lennox lewis after the 1st holyfield lewis fight and when king walked in he was boo-ed and by the end of the show he had everyone clapping for him with his crazy rhyming and fast talking talk.

When will you fanboys (ON BOTH SIDES) understand that Mayweather Vs Pacquiao will not happen because:

1 - There has been NO agreement on RANDOM BLOOD TESTS on the pacquiao camp
                    .
2 - Pacquiao camp hates Mayweather camp for asking rules that are not required by the commission.

When random OST (NO CUT OFF DATE) is agreed upon, Mayweather will sign. Guaranteed.

When Pacquiao can have A CUT OFF DATE that is agreed upon, Pacquiao will sign. Guaranteed.

Instead of turning this into a 40 page thread, go and search the other threads where this issue has been revisited VARIOUS TIMES, and you can reply to those and make those bigger.

                    It's ridiculously redundant.

Now you believe it's for the commission to decide?

What you are arguing here is still irrelevant. There are already fines in place to penalize a fighter coming in overweight. Raising the fine just prevents fighters, who believe they can just pay the minimal penalty, from coming in overweight.
                      Fair enough point then.

                      Just like..........

OSTs are for fighters who have discovered how to beat the archaic commission tests! So whats the damn problem. pbf didnt ask pacq to reduce the penalty amount? weak azz argument fanboy!
